Waikouaiti School
OtagoWaikouaiti School planted lots of native trees such as the iconic southern rata, and several different fruit trees. The students also completely revamped the existing vegetable garden to learn about the benefits of growing and harvesting their own food.
A woodchip pathway, with fairy gardens on either side, was created and now leads to an outdoor classroom, a place where students can go to observe, think, draw, and immerse themselves in nature.
