Naenae Primary was paving the way to a sustainable future with worm farms, beehives and a fruit orchard already in place.

The Makeover included the construction of pathways, connecting different areas of the school with a newly built Samoan fale. The fale doubles as an outdoor classroom and covered stage, and reflects the multi-cultural identity of the school.

Native trees were planted to attract birds and insects so the children and wider community can observe and learn about the natural environment.
