The area between the School and Epuni Kindergarten was completely transformed with a koru shaped walkway and garden.

The new makeover was just one of many environmental ventures the school undertook that year. The Trees for Survival project, which sees native seedlings nurtured until they are mature enough to be planted as part of the Waiwhetu Stream Beautification initiative, is ongoing with support from the local council and the Rotary Club.
