Halfway Bush Primary used part of the school’s field to create an outdoor educational space surrounded in native trees and plants.
A reading area was established along with an edible garden where the students can gain hands-on knowledge of native fauna and flora including fruit, vegetables and herbs.

A specially designed bird watching area was constructed for the students to learn about the different species of birds.
